(NaturalNews) For years now, many of us who advocate natural health and natural approaches to beating cancer have warned against the dangers and the ineffectiveness of chemotherapy. The following report presented at the 27th Annual San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium illustrates how chemo actually spreads cancer cells, as well as points out how little we are being told about the dangers of chemo:
“German investigators from Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena, have shown that taxol (the “gold standard of chemo”) causes a massive release of cells into circulation.

“Such a release of cancer cells would result in extensive metastasis months or even years later, long after the chemo would be suspected as the cause of the spread of the cancer. This little known horror of conventional cancer treatment needs to be spread far and wide, but it is not even listed in the side effects of taxol.”
As has oft been stated, chemo does not cure cancer - it merely attempts to eliminate the tumors and cancer cells that are symptoms of the underlying causes of cancer, and does so with little success and great risks. In some instances it may appear to eliminate tumors and cancer cell masses, though most often it merely destroys some of the cancer cells. In the process, it often inflicts a very high price.
Besides spreading cancer cells, chemo inflicts serious and perhaps irreversible damage to the immune system, the body’s natural first line of defense against cancer and other illness - thus paving the way for the remaining cancer cells or future cancers to overwhelm a body that is even less able to beat the cancer that got past the immune system in the first place.
Chemo also frequently results in serious and even fatal damage, and major organs are also damaged, particularly the liver - which as cancer pioneer Max Gerson observed is always impaired to begin in those who get cancer. The heart is also frequently seriously damaged.
The end result is that chemo kills more patients than it “cures”. Most of those deaths are the result of liver or heart failure. Statistically, it has been estimated that the five year success rate from chemo is only about 3% (meaning only about 3% more patients who opted for chemo survived at least five years than did those who opted to not undergo chemo). But even that meager statistic is misleading in two key ways:
First of all, though survival rates are slightly higher for the first couple of years compared to those who opted out of chemo, after the third year the survival rate for those who opted out is greater than those who were treated with chemo and the gap widens significantly every year after that.
Secondly, and perhaps most important of all, the survival rates compare all of those who either undergo chemotherapy or decide against it. That includes the very large number of people who do little or nothing to address their cancer naturally and merely forego chemo. If chemo survival rates were compared with those of people who not only opted out of chemo, but also chose a non-invasive natural protocol to eliminate the toxins and other causes of cancer, to boost their immune systems and to attack the cancer naturally without inflicting damage to the rest of the body, there would surely be no comparison.
You can bet that it is a comparison the cancer industry never wants to make.

Hello,
Thank you for the wonderful article, I have already planned on not getting a chemo treatment(which in actuality is a chemical treatment for cancer, hello!!!) if I ever should be diagnosed with the dreaded disease. Despite on whoever I disappoint or upset, after all it’s my own body, a body designed by God himself, and it should be my decision if I choose not to get a chemo treatment, hey I am a grown adult and am able to make my own decisions.
In regards to the above, it figures why so many people who get chemo, often get a cancer comeback, and sometimes worse. It doesn’t cure as you explained, just treats the problem not the cause. And when a person with severe cancer, in the end doesn’t die with cancer, they die from something else that the chemo has killed them with. I am totally against chemo and radiation, they just don’t work. I would much rather be treated with a more natural means such as good quality herbs and supplements and a good quality nutritional diet that targets the cause of cancer. I am an avid fan of holistic health and natural means, and totally support its cause.
Thank you so much for the article and the heads up, GREAT JOB!!!!!!.

About 15 years ago I was diagnosed with cancer in both breasts, and had a double mastectomy. In order to avoid being hustled into taking chemo or radiation I actually lied to the doctors, telling them I was getting treatment “elsewhere”.
I have lived to tell the tale. All but one of my friends who had breast cancer and took the chemo route are dead.

I would like to know what Jenn did for treatment that “saved” her life. I have a freind that just started Chemo after her double mastectomy.
I was diagnosed with DCIS in November and have had a lumpectomy and re-excision with clean margins. The “protocol” is radiation treatment. I am on the fence with the decision but am leaning toward not getting radiation. What can I do instead?

You can go online and find Bill Henderson’s website. He has a book available called “Cancer Free” and a free monthly newsletter on the latest research in alternative methods for treating cancer. I had a lumpectomy for cancer in my right breast February 2007. I refused the chemo and radiation recommended by the doctor and followed Mr. Henderson’s advice on diet - eating mostly fresh veggies and fruits and whole grains. Avoided sugar and processed foods and cut way down on meats. Took supplements recommended to boost immune system. Doing well more than 2 1/2 years later.

Cathy, you can do nothing.
Take tamoxifen if you want and wait it out.
Radiation does a lot of damage to other cells, especially the lung and then the heart, no matter what they tell you at the hsopital about not touching those areas.

This is a recent and an eye opening learning for me. I found out that diseases like cancer do not survive in an alkaline environment. this can be achieved by appropriate supplements.
A colleague of mine, who had cervical cancer, has been totally cured by following this approach. You may refer to the website and decide with a knowledgeable person on the supplements that would best serve you.
A similar positive result with alkaline diet has also been reported by another respondent,Yvonne. Her suggestions on diet and exercise are very good to keep cancer from coming in. However if you have been diagnosed with cancer, then one needs to come in with a double barrel shot gun to get alkaline quickly and initiate the remission process. This would entail diet, exercise and appropriate supplements.
I would be glad to send information on my colleagues regimen to get alkaline and cancer free. I can ask Jennifer if she is willing to let me pass out her phone number so you may hear her experience first hand.

That is correct. I have a friend that was diagnosed with 4th stage melanoma. She had no insurance, so she went the natural route with Dr. Wallach’s (the infamous author of Dead Doctors Don’t Lie) plan and is now totally cancer free.
God created our bodies in a miracoulous way that it can heal itself with the proper nutrition.

Thank you so much for your article on the dangers of chemo. Eleven years ago I had stage 2 ovarian cancer. I had 3 surgeries and 6 rounds of chemo. I did not want to do the chemo but was “strongly encouraged” to do it so I relented. Ten years later I found a large tumor in my breast. I had the lumpectomy but refused chemo and radiation much to the displeasure of the oncologists. I researched and found that an alkaline system is unfavorable to cancer cells so I went on a strong pro-alkaline diet and it has been two years and I am doing fine. If anyone would like my alkaline diet, please ask and I will email it.

Hello!
I just read your testimony and am interested in the alkaline diet you used. I beleive that it is good as a cancer preventative to have an alkaline diet, and also have a sister-in-law who has cancer and is going through chemo. Thank-you!

This may be a bit lengthy but I feel it is very important information for all cancer experiencers and family there of so here goes.
Cancer loves an acidic body and most Americans eat acidic food. Cancer feeds on sugar so stay away from it including substitutes that have Aspartame. Use honey or Stevia. Dairy products cause mucus which cancer also feeds on. Use Soy milk instead.
Meat is acidic, especially red meat so eat small amounts of fish or chicken but be sure they are raised in healthy conditions. One’s diet should be 80% vegies, whole grains, seeds and nuts and some fruit. A juicer is a wonderful addition to your kitchen. Avoid coffee, tea and chocolate which are high in caffeine. Drink pure water and herbal tea or grain coffee. Cancer preventatives that work are IP-6, Floressence, and Essiac. Cancer cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment so exercise daily and do deep breathing.
Foods to avoid : refined sugar, white flour, processed fats, alcohol, meat, dairy products, coffee/tea, chocolate.
Foods to eat in abundance: root vegetables, potatoes, turnips, rutabega, carrots, onions, garlic, radishes. Also asparagus, celery, collards, lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, squash, spinich, and all sea vegetables. Fruit: berries, cantaloupe melons, kiwi, pineapple, tangerine, watermelon Mandarin oranges, lemons and limes.
There, this is it I think. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body and spirit. A positive spirit will help the cancer experiencer to be a survivor. Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Be loving and forgiving, learn to relax and enjoy life and give thanks.

I had breast cancer but declined treatment and had mistletoe injections instead for 4 months, fear took over and I had a bi-laterial mastectomy 30 august 09. Refused chemo and tamoxafen. Surgeon and oncologist not pleased. Carried on with mistletoe. 2.1/2 years on I am very well. Try to avoid cows dairy but eat a little goats cheese and sheep yoghurt, oat and rice milk. Small amounts of meat. Avoid sugar where possible have Xylitol instead. No processed food, I eat organic where possible, take nutritional supplents as recommended by my nutritionist/iridologist, have a RO water filter. Have tried varied healers, Bowen, homeopathy, bio resonance etc. etc. Also take 500mg B17 tablet each night and alkalise my body with Zeolite. My only health issue is skin problems, cracking at the corner of mouth and dryness by side of nostrels and eczema between buttocks, which have been troubling me off and on for a few years.
Am addressing this at moment with homeopathy and bio resonance treatment. Any ideas on the skin problem would be appreciated.
I salute anyone who has said no to chemo and radiotherapy and tamoxafen

I would appreciate any information on alternative treating of non-Hoskins Lymphoma. A lady friend has it and has been under treatment with chemo for over a year and no real improvement has been shown.
Thanks for your help.

I have now developed 3 kinds of cancer. The first, basal cell carcinoma I “treated” with 8 grams per day of vitamin C. The cancers did not return.
The second was a tumor in my bladder. I had that surgically removed but declined the follow up treatment that projected only a halving of the expected 70% chance of its return. I asked the urologist that was treating me what the cause of this cancer was and he didn’t know. I switched my diet to more healthy (organic foods, alkaline veggies, superfoods, minimized sugar intake, avoided cow’s milk products, etc), reduced the amount of electromagnetic pollution in my home by turning off my cell phone, replacing cordless phones with corded ones, changing my monitors and TVs to LCD, wearing a BioLife pendant, etc. I also supplemented with various things like mushrooms, beets, greens and other known cancer preventives. I took Protocel for over a year, every 6 hours around the clock. I installed an RO water unit in my house. I avoided chemical laden soaps, lotions, shampoos, etc. I avoid chlorine, I even have shower head filters. You all may think this is extreme, but my bladder cancer has not returned.
Third I got a choroidal melanoma of the right eye. I was stampeded into getting that killed with a laser treatment that left me partially blind. I was told that if the melanoma metastized to other parts of the body that it was a death sentence. These two so called experts also could not tell me what caused this condition. I continued with my treatments and change of life style. The only side effects so far is a loss of weight from 168 pounds down to 150, right about where I was in college and a much healthier system.
One cannot predict what one will do in any situation, but I have been there and I have avoided burn or poison although I accepted cut. It is called integrated medicine, and if your practitioner doesn’t practice it, switch doctors. Look at your primary physician and if he doesn’t look like he/she is in good heath, go elsewhere. If he/she has a closed mind to alternative treatments, go elsewhere.
My life target is aimed at 103 with good health, so I have a way to go at age 77. If I get past 103, then I can just call that overtime in the game of life. If not, I can just do it all over again in a future life.

Good for you, sounds like you are doing everything right. I am 72 and 103 sounds good to me! One thing I did not mention, the power of Miso to keep one’s system alkaline. I use it daily in place of coffee. I teaspoon in a cup of hot (not boiling) water with a few shakes of garlic and onion powder. It makes a tasty miso boullion and balances your system to slightly alkaline.

I have lung cancer and have been on chemotherapy of one kind or another since July of 2007 shortly after the uper lobe of my left lung was removed. Sometimes I feel so bad I think the chemotherapy must be making me feel worse than the cancer would, but I am so scared not only about progression or the cancer, but also about the effects of this chemotherapy that I get every week. If you have any suggestiong or information that might be beneficial to me, I would greatly appreciate it. Juanita P

I am always amazed at the commercials with people stating they are cancer survivers.
They really are not aware that chemo has killed a lot of people. They really are chemo survivers. I find it sad that for the sake of money our government lets drug companies poison us. I find this very sad.

I had breast cancer in 2005, had partial mastectomy, refused chemo and radiotherapy. It came back in 2006, had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction by tram flap. I refused chemo and radio. On Monday, my onco told me i have a breast cancer with metastasis in the liver and the lungs and he gives me 2 at 3 years of life with chemo treatments. I refuse the pronostic and I intend to refuse the treatments again but i need all the info you can give me to continue my path healthy.
Thanks heaps.

Start taking vitamin D3, 10,000 I.U. per day. After a month or two, have your blood checked (D Hydroxy 25) and the vitamin D level should be at 80 to 100. That is the best level for cancer patients.
I would also check into resveratrol, however, it must be potent, 200 mg per capsule, and take 2 capsules per day.
If I had cancer, I would take about 6 grams per day of omega 3 fatty acids, either fish oil or flaxseed oil, along with coconut oil, and just in case the cancer is caused by fungus, I would also take olive leaf extract capsules twice per day.
Eliminate all processed food and sugars, including artificial sweeteners (stevia is ok) and would also eliminate all dairy and all grains, and that includes corn and peanuts.

Jim,
Ido not know much about your friends condition but I do know that the diet I previously described can help ANY form of cancer. Chemo just debilitates and destroys the immune system leaving the body so weak that the cancer has full reign. I know the doctors think they are doing the best they can but alternative treatments are not taught in medical school. Research and study and then help your friend.

Info for Gillian:
Eczema can be cleared up with the enzyme L-glutamine, found at health food stores. It acts on the intestinal wall to heal and protect it from “leaky gut” syndrome, where toxins etc. get through the intestinal wall that has been overstressed, travel through the bloodstream and come out through the skin in the form of eczema. Eczema is a symptom. It’s important to look at the body as a whole: a problem in one part of the body can manifest itself as a symptom elsewhere.

You are correct about fungus. ALong with needing an alkaline body, you need to eliminate fungus (mostly caused by antibiotic use that wipes out the body’s good bacteria and imbalances intestinal flora). Visit a good naturopath that will help with anti-fungal treatment.
